1 Year Later, a dream that continues – Thank you!!

It was with great joy and excitement that we announced our re-location a year ago. De Fynne Nursery moved all of its production and activities to a farm on the R45, just outside Northern Paarl and is now settled onto the new premises. The re-location not only brought new challenges, risks and opportunities but also a lot of learning and new relationships. The last year we were faced with unusual weather patterns, river flooding the farm and thefts to name a few but with your support we learnt to adapt and move forward. We want to sincerely thank our loyal employees, customers and everyone who has played a part in making this a smooth process.

De Fynne is now also growing and producing plums which are being exported with our Global Gap certificate. Please be on the lookout for our new products as we have new opportunities and products on the way. As we are still a wholesale production nursery, we are still not open to the public, but welcome retailers, wholesalers, research institutions, large commercial farms, wine estates, estates, institutions and landscapers. Welcome to De Fynne!

The Western Cape in South Africa is well known for its wine and Fynbos*. Over the years, these two industries have become pacesetters with their expertise and innovation.

One of these pacesetters in the Fynbos business is De Fynne Nursery. Nestled between the Cape's finest vineyards and the fabulous Fynbos kingdom is where you'll find this award-winning wholesale grower of Fynbos and Agricultural crops. From a modest beginning, De Fynne has established itself as one of South Africa's Fynbos and Agricultural seedling growing experts. What started as a back-yard garden operation with only 1 000 plants in 2001, has now grown into a 22 hectares farm.

The success of the nursery is evident by the variety of clients the company serves. These include retailers, wholesalers, research institutions, commercial farms, wine estates and landscapers. To expand on its Agricultural growing capabilities, the company has recently started growing and exporting plums.

With a passionate and knowledgeable team, well equipped infrastructure and an impressive track record, De Fynne Nursery is more than capable to grow your fynbos or agricultural crop.

* Fynbos is the natural vegetation occurring in a small belt of the Western Cape of South Africa. There are 9 000 species of fynbos in the Western Cape of which 6 200 is endemic, i.e. growing nowhere else in the world. So if you are looking for someone to grow your crop, you have to go nowhere else in the world than De Fynne Nursery!
